The movement reached Canada in 1985 with the establishment of the first Canadian affiliate in Winkler, Manitoba. Since then, Habitat for Humanity Canada has grown significantly, now boasting 70 affiliates across 10 provinces and two territories. This expansion has resulted in over 1,000 families being placed into new homes, providing them with stability and a foundation for a better future.
